Why is the news reporting this like it isn't a clear cut case of murder and cover up?
If I'm being serious, I don't think it's particularly likely to have been a murder. Not really any motive, presumably wasn't during an arrest where the pig's going on a power trip. My bet is that the cop was drunk and/or speeding and hit a random ass pedestrian, and someone pulled some strings to make sure the body was quietly dissposed of so that the city woudln't get sued for that cop's wreckless driving - or at least to cover a fellow cop's ass to avoid manslaughter charges.
Cops cover up all sorts of shit, it doesn't even have to have been a situation where the cop would have been in any real danger of being held accountable. Racism's really a sufficent explanation for the cover up, they hit a black man and treated hte situation like they had hit a stray dog.
Cops are legitimately terrifying drivers. I constantly see them going 60+mph through pedestrian zones just to catch up with someone who they saw go 5 over or something.
We have no compassion and we ask no compassion from you. When our turn comes, we shall not make excuses for the terror.
So when a cop runs someone over and then tries to cover up the
murderpolice-involved car incident by anonymously burying the corpse, what do you say it is?edit okay i guess y'all were talking past each other, carry on
"hexbear users are a bunch of deranged violent radicals and nothing they believe has any basis or substance to it because i refuse to read or acknowledge any of it"
something to that effect, probably
I love the people making wild ass assumptions in my absence, lol. A victim complex is not a good look.
What I meant is that I thought the comment I responded to was in earnest, and I was about to trash them, then I saw that it was a hexbear thread and realized that it was sarcasm.
I thought that was self-explanatory, but I was clearly incorrect.
Edit: I may have misinterpreted the intent of the comment that I responded to, leading others to misinterpret the intentions of my response.
It wasn't you, but the others that responded like I was being an asshole when I wasn't.
I'm gonna be real with you bro, it's the @lemm.ee tag
It's like shouting "don't take me seriously" at the top of your lungs
I'm mildly aware there was some sort of beef between the lemm.ee admin and hexbear.net admin, but I didn't really pay much attention to it. Particularly when some folks wanted to defederate and the admin was like, "nah." Idk, I came from reddit. Maybe this shit is more cliqued for some than it is for me. I just represent myself, not an instance, for better or worse.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the article, but, to me, it seems to clearly state that this is a murder and cover-up, especially with the fact that it was an anonymous burial with clear identification on the body.
Ah, I mean that's fair, on a re-read, I could see that as fair interpretation, but I also think it could definitely make that kind of implication clearer if it's what they were actually going for.
Now we're dealing with too many layers of ambiguity in language for me to decipher a clear view of the intentions behind everyone's words..
I agree. In hindsight, my interpretation may have been more of a representation of my own dry sarcasm, thus the confusion.
in korth norea the evil state enforcers will run you over because they're careless and will toss you in an unmarked grave without telling your family
I gotta wonder what are the chuds going to make up about this man's life to justify this? did he give someone a wedgie in 3rd grade? Did he jaywalk while under the influence of bubblegum?
Already saw the excuses brigade on Twitter says he was on meth and basically deserved it, made me angry and sick.
I wish that officer who ran him over would take his gun and own himself
I'm about 5 seconds of this from doing an adventurism
if everyone riots we can get Pelosi to run someone over in tribute
