    Half the time the way they use globalist as definition (with a proper framework, which sadly they lack) of imperialism, the other half as a chauvinistic dogwhistle

    Oftentimes they mean both. A lot of far-right people think that imperialism is a conspiracy to genocide white people. Even a hundred years ago, a significant number of the "anti-imperialists" in the US (maybe even a majority lmfao) just didn't want to be involved with brown people.

      A grain of truth in this. They know they're as disposable as any other group, and they're terrified of suffering the same abuse.
