are we gonna have a civil war between the Xiites and the Sorosists?
The right's obsession with Soros is so funny, their portrayal of him as a "great subverter" is almost correct, just inverted. He was running multiple USAID type shenanigans in the Soviet countries which opened to foreign investment. He was also doing similar activities in China during the student movement of the late 80s.
Their mine gripe is that he's the a sneaky globalist as you mentioned, that "subverts" countries into Communism. I said their view is inverted because the "subversion" he has carried out has historically been Capitalist.
This is pretty common on those Q anon conspiracy type places. Half the time the way they use globalist as definition (with a proper framework, which sadly they lack) of imperialism, the other half as a chauvinistic dogwhistle. Once you figure out who means what (context clues come into play here) it makes it easier to try to deprogram people.
My favorite thing these days is to teach your average conspiracy theorist or rural lumpen is some of the framework (like imperialism, which most of the working class and poor of the bunch are among the strongest antiimperialists in the Imperialist western core imo) and to get over that last lump of 'who taught you to fear China/USSR and why'd you trust them on that but nothing else?'
Small steps, steps they already get, you don't deprogram blind hate and ignorance in one day unless they're like the reincarnation of Albert Einstein. To note on context clues, some are strongly within the labor aristocracy (some are even its nobility ofc) and will be the strongest proimperialists you'll ever see, and you're not converting those chuds since they know what imperialism offers and how it serves them the best. Online you'll find them mixed together, which is why I don't recommend at all trying deprogramming there.

Oftentimes they mean both. A lot of far-right people think that imperialism is a conspiracy to genocide white people. Even a hundred years ago, a significant number of the "anti-imperialists" in the US (maybe even a majority lmfao) just didn't want to be involved with brown people.
Right, even more so for the importance of context, talking to them (since like I said about online) you'll get a good feel for where they're going with it.

A grain of truth in this. They know they're as disposable as any other group, and they're terrified of suffering the same abuse.
