I will always bring up how they will teargas teachers and the like when they protest peacefully. Gets people to shut up pretty quick if they are not full on fascist.
I think the "POLICE WON'T HELP YOU" line comes from the Sega Genesis game Streets of Rage, which is neat and all but the screen clearing special attack in that game involves a police car rolling up behind the fight and firing artillery into the crowd.
