I believe I have the solution. Establish a new Jewish nation in New Jersey and allow NYC to be added to this new nation as the capital city. It's a larger chunk of land, and I think it's geographically prettier. As a Jew in North America who has been in a birthright trip and seen all there is that Israel has to offer, and who has been privileged enough to travel throughout much of North America, this new nation and its access to New York City and it's municipal water, critical for making a good bagel, is far more crucial to the health and well being of Jews such as myself than having access to Jerusalem.
