I know someone that works in graphic design. This kind of art style is the kind of shit they're forced to do when a client gives them no time to make something and they want it done quick and cheap. This is why you see this art style in so many ads and shit. The person I know who is forced to do this art style all the time for work is an amazing artist. She can make watercolour paintings using digital art that look like they were done on a canvas. Yet every day she has to do this soul-crushing shitty corporate slop. Capitalism wastes the creative talent of so many people.
