Yes, but most audiophiles are constantly seeking their endgame™ setup, which will then be worthless garbage when they try something else that sounds slightly better. At a certain point, I stop giving a shit how "lifelike" the snare sounds and just listen to the music. They're just audio equipment hoarders and should be bullied relentlessly.
