the whole dichotomy is designed to make people talk past each other. In my opinion, common language itself is a whirlpool of confusion, so words within a language which categorize people as part of a group which they dont identify with is literally designed to create false conflict. i.e the word terrorism...the word terrorist is designed to categorize an enemy which cant be negotiated with, total victory is the only option. woke is the same. No terrorist identifies as a terrorist, no 'woke' person identifies as woke(maybe they might but purely in an ironic manner).

I used to be a stupidpol type who believed the left's failures were due to its presentation. Now I'm of the belief that all the world is doomed without some miracle because of the power of capital and ideology which makes individuals confuse the wet shit they eat with fillet mignon.

Many reactionaries define woke as being critical of America and supporting trans rights. If that's what you mean by it, yes we're woke as fuck. Chud behaviour or questioning the rights of trans folks will get you banned. Otherwise you're free to be who you are.

It makes no sense to be either really. "Woke" is just being vaguely progressive, which is a mishmash of good instincts and liberal ideology. When people are anti-woke, it's usually really reactionary, but being "pro-woke" would fail to recognise how incredibly liberal those politics are and how absent it is of true, Marxist class analysis. This lack of class analysis allows "wokeness" to be weaponised by the ruling class and used as a cudgel to beat down the working class and its organisations. However, if you are organising people, working class people with "woke" common sense is a good starting point imo.

This place isn’t stupidpol from what I’ve gathered if that’s what’s your asking.

If you want that kind of Angela Nagle Bougie arrogant reactionary left, stupidpol is still the best place for that.
