Disagree. Britain usually takes it somewhat "seriously", like, they're not trying to troll the competition or be weird cringe on purpose, which actually works very well very frequently. That's why they fail all the time. This one however was a bit too embarrassing in the wrong way.
feel kinda bad for the performer but he took it well at least, I hear all the 0 pointers congregated after the results.
He wasn't even that bad relative to most UK entries over the recent years, poor dude didn't deserve a 0 lmao
True, I mean just look at this travesty
i have no words
how the fuck did that happen

I won't be hearing any ABBA slander.
Edit: Oh shit I'm a mod on this comm. :ban-hammer: time
it's not necessarily disparaging ABBA, it could moreso be a point on how there haven't been any superstars in Eurovision for almost 50 years
You're right but I was just kidding.

They were 5 seconds away from saying "the sun never sets on the British flag"
It's derivative, but not bad...just like I wouldn't really notice that the song had changed if it came on in the club lol
Link for the other Americans who have no idea what Eurovision is
Oh man, this was first place...
If we can light up this room then we can light up this flag :ukkk:
it wasn't actually, italy took first place after the audience voted
Yes, that's exactly why it failed lol
If that's why it failed, most of the others should have failed too lol.
Eh, not really. Like, Italy stood out.
*most
I looked up Italy after this and theirs was legit great
I didn't think it was that great tbh but it wasn't the same as all the other ones. It usually helps to stand out and usually they fail to do that.
It was definitely the least lazy feeling one. I can't believe that Eurovision is still so popular after years of garbage performances.
Bring back publicly owned MTV
Well this assumes that most of the people who watch it care about the quality of the performances lol
