I would actually say that Corbyn is closer to someone like Chavez in actual economical and foreign policy beliefs than any western prominent socdem. Maybe due to the fact that they both have a communist background (both trots). Old 20th century labor had room for actual communists opperating within them. In comparison even Bernie’s “radical past” was around current Corbyn’s openly demsoc powerlevel. And his modern bluedog socdemism is much less
