Kind of the same thing here. I quickly noped out of the atheist "community" when I realized they only cared about women and LGBT people when it was an excuse to shit on Muslims. Otherwise it was full of anti-feminists and the same moral panic about LGBT people that you see from fundamentalist Christians.
Also major props to the Sargon-Michael Brooks debate for helping me fully abandon my former atheist debate-brainworms. I was never into Sargon and it wasn't a particularly good debate, but a lot of the things Sargon said sounded like things I might've said ages ago and Brooks responses to them were so clear, concise and really laid bare to how empty and unhelpful Rational Atheist™️ critiques of Islam actually are. God damn I miss Michael. :deeper-sadness:
