I just got banned now as a result of going there from this thread. Presumably for "denying the uyghur genocide." Some lib told me I was "about to learn a lesson" and then I got banned. Guess he reported me for not toeing the line.

Nukes say no. And even with no nukes, any direct war with a peer power would be completely unlike what anyone alive has any experience with, and any planner with two brain cells to rub together could tell you it would a fucking bloodbath that no one alive is prepared for.

Imo, the Cold War 2.0 drumming is just an excuse to funnel more money into the MIC now that the forever wars are winding down.

Honestly the :amerikkka: is exactly the type of nation that would start a nuclear war out of spite. I know that China will inevitably surpass the :amerikkka:, which is why I feel nervous about this

I think communists around the world should not ask themselves what position this places the west in but what position this places China in.

As I see it the only option for China is to aim to install pro-China governments around the world. This will come through either economic methods of unseating people or through supporting communists. I suspect both. China will not mind whether or not other countries are communist so long as they aren't anti-China. It will aim to strengthen whoever represents anyone that is not economically anti-China initially, and then at a later time anyone who is pro-China, and then anyone who is communist.

This is China's ONLY method to survive in the world as anti-China sentiment ramps upwards. The only sensible reaction China can possibly have is "remove the anti-China sentiment".

Major nuclear powers are never going to invade each other, it just doesn't make sense from anyone's perspective.

I'd put good money on new proxy wars in Northern Africa and South America though.

The US and USSR didnt need to have a hot war for one of them to win though. I think China is largely safe, though a serious conflict in the south china sea could certainly happen with how much constant NATO activity there is there now with the us sailing warships routinely in the Taiwan strait now.

US won't have any allies if it tries to do a cold war with China though. The EU already pushes back on anything more than propaganda news - Dengism really did put the western world into checkmate.

no way they're dying to find something to do about China. Theres dozens of us and nato ships encircling China and they're only intensifying militarization around the areas in any country that will let them. EU just does whatever the US says, when do they ever actually do anything lol?
