I don't know, I have seen some links to other front-ends to reddit, but they still end up blocked for me. Not sure if there is an archive somewhere. I stopped caring about reddit when they stopped caring about their users and mods.

It's a major point as to why negotiations are barely tenable in the Israel-Palestinian conflict:
Israel is made of a majority group whose core tenets are focused on the celebration life, and doing what you can to ensure that you not only live, but live well
Palestine is made of a majority group whose core tenets are focused on the celebration of death and the after-life, in that you should be focused on attaining the most "honorable" death possible to ensure a better after-life
When the views on how to approach life and death are such polar opposites to each other, it's going to be extremely difficult, if not outright impossible to find a common ground upon which to negotiate.
