Good for the workers! Uber in particular is known for its anti-worker policies. Their goal is to ultimately become free of workers and then make unlimited profits with self driving cars (similar to Amazon's drive to automate). Leaving the workers with nothing.

    A big push-button machine that generates money is definitely the end goal. But it continues to strike me as totally delusional. Like, I work in IT. Nothing we do is simply fire-and-forget. There's an entire development cycle of building / maintaining / retiring that churns on endlessly.

    Excited to see if this ride-share service takes off. Uber and Lyft aren't doing anything particularly special in terms of service delivery.
