I will forever rue the day she met John. She broke up the Beatles and didn't even care.

Look at this wonderful piece of art: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdZ9weP5i68 This is what happens when no one tells you are bad at something.

Here's a great breakdown by Bill Burr on John Lennon and Chuck Berry singing a song on television...and then Yoko happens. The look on Chuck's face is priceless: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4K07Kz7M8Q

I watched an interview with the surviving Beatles quite some years after and after denying it for a long time, they finally came out and said, "Yeah, pretty much, she broke up the Beatles." Rifts can be healed, new artistic directions taken, but without her they could have come out with several more albums, even separated by years. Kind of like the Beach Boys are still together, sort of. Or Chicago.

Oh come on Yoko Ono is wildly unpopular except in her little insular artist circles. Misogyny is hatred of women, this is just a well-deserved dislike of a someone who thinks her howling is something anyone wants to hear.

Just cause you don't know anything about the modern art world doesnt mean Yoko Ono is in any way not respected for her art, sure Beatles fans hate her(mainly cause misogyny, partially for the treatment of Johns first kid) but she's in no way some kind of outsider or ostracised. This is still just reactionary "waaah I think this art bad that means the artist is bad at life and its unfair she is famous and im not" shit.

Weigh the number of people in the world who respect Yoko Ono vs. the number of people who think she's trash. Which one comes out the winner?

The art world is just a big money laundering scheme.

Gonna weigh the people in the world who care about your art opinions vs those who want you to take a steaming dump in your underwear are you ready to face the results coward?

It's no good without Bill Burr's commentary. Although you will notice that on the second song, the sound man cut her microphone :D :D :D :D :D :D

Watch: https://youtu.be/ZbGuxGGOIV0?t=332 That sound man is a hero
