I play guitar, been stalled at an intermediate level for like a decade lol. It’s so easy to go from beginner to “I can play 90% of stuff I wanna play in chord form plus a lot of riffs and solos, plus write my own stuff”, soooo much harder to go from that to like, the point where I’d be comfortable performing in a band or something
I've been playing bass guitar for 25 years (yes, I'm old as fuck), can kinda play a little guitar, and am currently learning to play drums.
I mostly play hardcore/fastcore punk, doom/stoner metal, and a bit of grindcore and black metal.
If you check my profile, I've posted at least one of my bands.
sounds cool, i will look in the morning.
i just picked up bass past 2 months, i have played guitar 10 years (mainly jazz and soul) and now learning stuff like earth wind & fire on bass, they have cool basslines (for my taste)
the funny thing is that bass has its own challenges so u can't really say its "easier" than guitar

This is definitely true, yeah. I love the bass. Will always be my number one instrument.
i play some guitar, mostly my second instrument though. when i do play, i lean towards sparkly emo kind of stuff like American Football. i try to just find nice tunings around the guitar.
I play Guitar, bass, keys, and drums. I also try to sing. I basically play rock or experimental rock
