            I would have known about this if I wasn't kicked out of the mod's discord where I only used to go to say "yo the site is down" and someone would reply "yeah we working on it"

                Sorry, really don't remember, from the megathreds I only read the topic of the day effort post and nothing else...

                Yeah, there was a discord for beta testers and then morphed into people who would say "yo this thing is clunky" and other feedback but I was kicked from it, maybe around the Beatnik thing happening.

                Also one time I threw an idea and people liked it but never got implemented.

                    The dude who started hexbear.net back when it was called chapo.chat

                    He got metoo-ed by a minor, but apparently turns out it was false cuz every very specific info the minor mentioned was easily tracked browsing the dude's reddit account and the person who threw the accusation never again re-appeared. Anyways the dude stepped down from here and I never saw it again, didn't search for him either, I don't keep track of the drama.
