Yeah, Cross Ange is definitely REALLY bad in the things that make it bad, including as I mentioned - the mountain of CWs.
The pro-equality plot is there I suppose, but there's so much unsavory stuff on top of it that it drowns out everything in its taste - beyond the six or so episodes in the middle of the show where it eases off for whatever reason.
It's like an expensive microwave pizza with expired toppings. As compared to the store brand microwave pizza of many modern mechanime - bland but at least it's safe to eat.
