    It's incredibly xenophobic to post this. Murdering children is Israeli culture and we can't negatively judge them for getting a little too excited. They see a kid, they're going to fire tank shells. They can't wait for a positive confirmation that it's a Palestinian kid.

    I thought to myself, ‘Why are they shooting tank shells into the house?’ And I asked one of the people that was with me, ‘Why are they shooting?’ So they explained to me that it was to break the walls, in order to help cleanse the house.

    Israeli people, settlers, aren't valued by their government for anything more than names and numbers in eviction proceedings. Much like the average person almost anywhere today, if one's existence presents a problem to the ruling class they will be treated like an official enemy. Additional hostages are liabilities and future PR nightmares. If you give them an out, like "fog of war" they'll take advantage every time.
