    Patriot Act moment again

I have SO MANY thoughts concerning things like rich people of the past and how they just brazenly did things against a huge majority of the population which absolutely didn't benefit anyone (maybe the top 1% or whatever). None of it connected to current day nor connected to our Congress and if I did have those thoughts I would certainly never write them down.

Hey, time to see the principled Republicans who always said "hate crimes are bullshit because who cares why they murdered that minority!" vote against this since it the federal government sets precedent that antizionism can be considered antisemitism it opens up legitimate prosecution of leftists (it won't be right wingers boycotting Israeli business) for opposing a racist fascist state. Also kills defamation lawsuits in the crib which is a tiny but still possible way to get revenge as against the false accusations. If it's just a law that they are equal... I guess you can still fight it, but let's be real here about how that will go especially with the current Supreme Court.

This all just makes the US a mask off Nazi country just openly passing laws like "all Jews think the same and are a monolith." Shit is pretty crazy. They also condemned socialism a few months back.

-Thinks Jews are all the same and a little inclusive group ✅

-hates socialism and makes laws against ✅

-openly discussing invading neighbors for bullshit reasons (Mexico) ✅

the circle of fascism never stops

I mean yes, but also it's just a resolution. That is, a letter that congress is cosigning that has no legal result.

I'm absolutely not trying to "roast" you or anything. You're not wrong.

The reason I often type hyperbolically is because I've already seen enough of where this shit goes. Today it's a resolution, next week it's a law outlawing protesting Zionists.

I'm failing to explain my mentality beyond like "what if Chicken Little was screaming about the sky falling... and was always right?" I basically use this website as my place to scream about the sky because everywhere else people have literally no clue wtf they're even going on about. That doesn't mean I'm always right, because I'm not and I try to accept new things when I'm wrong, but I mean they literally do not have the base level knowledge to discuss... anything. So, screaming into the void is what it will be, I suppose.

(Chicken Little would be a good username)

I mean, there are 30+ states with anti-BDS laws already. We are already almost at that point you're describing. For example, you can get fired as a company contracting with the Texas government or as an individual employee of the state (teachers, etc) for advocating for BDS.

In some states, your landlord can kick you out of your house/apartment lease for advocating BDS.
