Oh the grift on this is so so much funnier than it ought to be.
O’Neill says in the clip as he pulls a Spock and knocks out a guy wearing flannel because he likes hoppy beers.
They have two beers, one of them is an IPA. You know, the hoppy style of beer.
They're selling two beers, want $7.5m investment to buy an actual brewing facility (which I believe means that they took whatever initial investment they could get and then just contracted out). Oh, but they've got three different divisions targeting different...my god, different military branches. The non-company already has three subsidiaries under the umbrella. Fuck, this is just every single aspect of American culture smushed into one news article.
Just going to leave this right here...
You can “enlist” by investing $200 to $499, at which point you’ll get a sticker, a challenge coin, an invitation to an annual event, a 5% discount at their online store and a few other benefits.
I think it's most likely just some dumb chud guy's idea of how to run a business. All business today is about marketing your brand, so what's better than only having one brand to market to the whole u.s. armed forces? Marketing brands to the water guys (navy, marines, coast guard), the land guys (army), and the air guys (air force) all separately.

Honestly I'm 50/50 on if this is trying to play a shell game with company funds or if it's a dumb guy's idea of how to run a business
