I love how, in this precocious mind, developing a real world country operates like building a base in Red Alert. Money (and there's only one type of that!) seamlessly converts into whatever you need, with the only difficulty being saving up enough for a tech center now and then. You don't need silly things like an industrial base or trade with other countries; there are no problems with currency exchanges; and what is brain drain, anyway?
Because that's literally how they think goods are produced in capitalist countries, they all just go to the X Factory and produce infinite products with infinite resources and they pop up at the store
