When even your most "progressive" representatives like AOC are cowardly, spineless supporters of imperialism I find this hard to believe possible. I'm for trying of course but I think it'll take decades and even with public backing the establishment will do nothing because they genuinely do not give a shit how unpopular any of their military or strategic decisions are.
