Yeah the donghua industry has only started picking up recently. Before a lot of Chinese animators would work for Japanese companies and now it's starting to trend towards the other way around (e.g. Takumi Tanji - art director and background artist for Your Name is credited as the art director for Link Click). Moving forwards there's gonna be a ton more works coming out.
That being said, there's still a handful of pretty solid stuff out already (The Legend of Hei movie from 2019 would be the one other than Link Click that I think gets close to some of the best Japanese works out there). They just tend to not get as much publicity so it's hard to find unless if you're deliberately looking for them. Might make a separate post on them some time.
