    Honestly, you can't lockdown forever. The social consequences, let alone the economic ones, of lockdown will prove to be severe. I don't know what the solution is but quarantine for months/years on end is not only unsustainable especially given our current economic model but extremely damaging to the public psyche.

    Yes, the haphazard way they've carried out the lockdowns is mostly to blame. Yes, capitalism is to blame. I just don't think lockdowns are a viable solution from here on out. Either ways we're heading towards fascism.

      You don't know what the solution is? The solution is a real lockdown for a few weeks / months at most. The reason """lockdown""" has lasted so long is because there was never an actual lockdown to begin with. They said "pretty please, if you don't want people to die, dont come outside" and every chud in the country was like "FUCK YEAH I LOVE PEOPLE DYING" and immediately went partying

      Things have basically been Business As Usual since last summer, except you're supposed to wear a mask but huge numbers of people don't anyway
