I half considered stopping yesterday. Looks like the answer to that is a big whopping "no"
So we're rapidly approaching Biblical plague levels for the CDC to even mention masks right.
Oh thanks CDC, that would've been great to know THREE FUCKIN WEEKS AGO, I love catching covid for the second time
At the CDC, “Hmmm…I don’t know, boss. This messaging is too clear. We better advise against buying too many masks in a couple of days. We should also make it clear to individual local health departments that they can forego our recommendations.”
Edit: lol never mind, I just watched the video. The messaging isn’t clear at all. Jesus fucking Christ, just tell people to wear a mask indoors around others.
Is she deliberately trying to get this message across to as few people as possible? Why else would someone post a video.
Multiple people at work were gone on Wednesday due to COVID. One of them was back on Thursday.
All COVID antigen tests are designed to give the result “GET BACK TO WORK”
I have a feeling he didn't mention it to HR before returning. We have a policy regarding illness that requires a doctor sign off on you returning, and HR has to clear you to come back. I had a sinus infection and wasn't able to go back for a week. I bet this guy didn't say it was COVID, and then had some quack doctor write him a note so he could come back.
I had a mystery illness last week but tested negative for Covid. Boosted last month and flu shot a few weeks before that.
Here's a map of all respiratory disease in the country:
ShowHere's a map of covid wasteater levels:
ShowJN.1 is now 20% of all cases in the US. Up from 8% at thanksgiving. This was predicted by @JPWeiland
ShowCashier at the line next to me was talking to the cashier in my lane and saying "I have a cough that won't leave" and the guy in mine was telling her to go get COVID tested over and over to which she was mildly responsive to.
I never stopped and I’m glad I didn’t. Three people showed up to work last week sick, one of them ended up having COVID and hid it from everyone until like 4 days later when he finally tested.
