We have thousands of ‘motion captured’ animations for our male footballers and when you apply many of these animations onto female bodies… well… they kind of move like cowboys.
Flashbacks to Payday 2.
Then there are other questions that we have to ask ourselves, such as how detailed should we go initially? There is a lot of existing literature available about the impact of the menstrual cycle on training and injuries, but how do we incorporate this without it having a major effect on gameplay?
Uh.
If we have pregnant players and staff in game, do we need different 3D models for the different stages?
Do women's football players not get maternity leave?
Anyways, this is very cool and good, and it's very smart to bundle it into the main game instead of making it its own separate franchise.
oh that is cool football manager is one of those things i always want to get into but i feel like i am not smart enough to actually do it
As a big fan, it's just something that takes loads and loads of practice to get good at. If you got free time and are willing to sink it in obsessing over a game, then you can master it
well, to be fair i am a big nerd with free time and i just really like deep simulation i am gonna check it out

Sounds like you are the target audience then! The game does have a steep learning curve, so be prepared to lose a lot at the beginning, but with time it's really rewarding
Interesting. I was a huge FM player in my teens, but haven't had the time to play it in years. Might go back and win the Champions League with Millwall for old times sake.
Also it's smart to add the women's leagues to the main game, and not release it as a standalone game.
