Just a year after this happened and it seems like everybody has forgotten about it. Yea he lost his adidas partnership but nowadays, he's been a welcomed surprise guest at Travis shows, I'm hearing his songs being popped off on in clubs and parties, and he's been going viral on TikTok with tons of praise and no criticism or mention of him being a Nazi in the comments
Is it Americans having the memory of a goldfish? Americans not really hating Hitler/Nazis/anti-semitism that much? Kanye's music is just too good to ignore? Americans just loving to deepthroat and worship anybody that's famous?
Kanye had a lot of antisemitic episodes before the AJ interview.
In the song "Flashing Lights" he says he hates the paparazzi more than the nazis. Which many saw as comedic exaggeration for the sake of an easy rhyme way back when it came out, but in hindsight it's a big red flag about how he sees the media (including the celeb-stalking media) as Jewish-owned, and how he hates the (Jewish) media more than the killers of Jews.
In his album Life of Pablo he praises homophobic and antisemitic NOI leader Louis Farrakhan on a couple of occasions.
He also has this antisemitic lyric from the song Saint Pablo off of Life of Pablo:
These were all invisible to people for some reason. It took him going on Alex Jones and praising Hitler before people noticed.
