Just a year after this happened and it seems like everybody has forgotten about it. Yea he lost his adidas partnership but nowadays, he's been a welcomed surprise guest at Travis shows, I'm hearing his songs being popped off on in clubs and parties, and he's been going viral on TikTok with tons of praise and no criticism or mention of him being a Nazi in the comments
Is it Americans having the memory of a goldfish? Americans not really hating Hitler/Nazis/anti-semitism that much? Kanye's music is just too good to ignore? Americans just loving to deepthroat and worship anybody that's famous?
Of course a normal person praising Nazism should get punched in the throat, and having bipolar has nothing to do with political views.
A rich person praising Nazism is to be expected. Accumulating wealth as a vassal of empire is inherently fascistic. The act of holding wealth is violent. Taylor Swift is a fascist too, she's just neurotypical enough to not discuss it in interviews. Anyone surprised to find out Kanye was a Nazi just hasn't been paying attention.
So everyone in this thread trying to say Kanye is somehow different than other rich artists are focusing on vibes instead of reality, and discriminating against Kanye for being unable to control the impressions he gives off.
Discrimination against Nazis is a good thing
Of course, but is this thread discriminating against all Nazis for being stupid and violent, or one Nazi for being bipolar?
