    I get your fear. But if you're nearish a hospital, the treatment makes your chance of getting rabies basically 0%. Honestly I've been bitten or scratched the needed treatment and vaccine on four separate occasions already. It's not bad at all.

    Can you get a precautionary vaccine? I know people who've done this.

        Dogs and cats. Sometimes strays, and sometimes negligent owners. If there's ANY fear of the animal having rabies, the doctor will insist on getting the vaccine to be safe.

        I've always had a no fear feeling with animals, and I've volunteered with animal stuff. I'm probably a bit unlucky, but petting every fecking pet one sees is likely to cause some mishaps.
