    This only makes my pro-China posting stronger.

    Edit: In all honestly, after reading the article, I'm just left with the take-away that mainstream Social Media is really bad and increasingly useless for interfacing with the outside world. All I'm seeing is discussion of techniques that have become chronic within internet communities and how they bombard people with bullshit.

    There's nothing particular to China about any of it. Just the comic inability to have sincere conversations on any of these platforms, because you're just going to get inundated with macro'd garbage.
