and the amount of people who view "being socialist" as something theological or a lifestyle, you have to take a vow of poverty to be "a real socialist". if you see "being a socialist" as it actually is - so as a historic agent of class struggle - you're not seen as a "real leftist".
so many anglos are allergic to theory it's crazy.
