      As I understand it - the money is theirs to so with as they see fit. Assume that's true.

          I wonder how far $100m would go for this. That's probably enough for a few warehouses and the infrastructure to make deliveries in a couple of states, but would that be enough to shake up Amazon at all before you go bankrupt?

            you'd have to pick a product category the way Bezos did and expand from there

            and then Bezos could lose money on that category until you go out of business

            that's the beauty of capitalist cOmPeTiTiOn it lets you find out who has more capital

              Yeah I know, I just thought maybe there would be a point where if you specialize enough you could be profitable, but it would be almost impossible to outperform Amazon when they can starve you out for many many years and the money they'd be losing is a rounding error..
