Jeff Bezos, the Amazon founder and world's wealthiest man, has donated $100 million each to CNN contributor Van Jones and chef José Andrés, founder of World Central Kitchen.

The support yacht has the helipad. When it comes to people who are truly insanely filthy rich - he lives a charmed life in a charmed era. I don't know how rich the robber barons were in today's dollars. Let's say the richest had roughly what Bezos has. They still couldn't have any of his toys or amusements. They couldn't go into space. If they had had a super yacht - it would be piddly compared to Bezo's. The same goes for all other possessions and activities.
If Bezos wants to put his footprint on the fucking moon - he will. And I bet he and his companies won't even pay a fucking penny. Somehow it'll be all funded by the US government via NASA, Space Force or whatever-the-fuck.
