    Literally the only use case I've had for WSL is to ssh into a server and do some computation on it. What do you use it for?

      Basically anything you'd use a terminal for, it makes for a very nice replacement to Command Prompt or PowerShell.

        come to think of it, I've never really interacted with my windows directories. Could be useful to run sed or grep on collections of files and shit

            I do use windows terminal, but prefer to leave power shell as the default, and then I have CentOS7 and Ubuntu18.04 for testing some shit. I'm currently studying for LPIC-1 and it helps to do simpler things from WSL instead of going to the VM.
