    Heaps, most revolutionaries were either Bourgois or Intelligentsia/proto-PMC.

    Sankara was the son of a colonial collaborationist cop FFS. He nearly became a Roman Catholic priest (shades of Stalin there) and joined the post-independence military

      I forget who said it but there is a quote from a Latin American organizer about their background being from worth that’s basically “it’s hard to plan a Revolution when you’re a slave who is hungry”
