Hey all I know it’s not really on topic but I don’t know who to ask lol. I have heard people say they find lazy eyes creepy and I’m already a Big Man so I don’t wanna look creepy. I got a lazy eye because of a tumor on my optic nerve that I don’t have the money to fix right now. Anyone know anything meaningful to do about it?

When I was a kid I got a special pair of glasses that had basically a clear lens for the healthy eye and a strong one for the lazy eye to force it to work better. It helped a ton.

Fuck the capitalist USA healthcare system so much

Interestingly, I actually have a form of insurance that covers it. It’s everything else surrounding it. Getting a place in the city to see the specialist, staying there, covering all those expenses etc.

Unfortunately none of the techniques are likely to fix it with the tumor putting pressure on the nerve. As the tumor grows the pressure will grow more severe and may cause worse problems.

My proposal is to get the best Obamacare insurance you can for however long it takes to get the surgery done. Then stop paying so they cancel your plan, and then switch to a cheaper one.

Good luck, and as always, Death To America.

There's specialty glasses they can make & medicated eye drops that slow down your ocular muscles nerves. But I'm no EENT, no idea if those would be appropriate for you.

I guess I know that seriously it’s not, but I dunno, just thought someone might have a fix for the aesthetics of it. I ain’t expecting anyone to fix the actual problem

I didn't want to be the one to say it because I didn't know whether it'd be disrespectful, but I fully support Big Man with Eyepatch.
I also fully support growing bushy facial hair and becoming jacked, but those are nonessential

I have bushy facial hair already so maybe it’s time to just commit. Not disrespectful I just want to be badass not cringe

if anyone calls you cringe for wearing an eye-patch (which is bs, because it's cool as hell) literally drop the "I have a tumor on my optic nerve" line and I bet they'd shut the hell up and feel guilty real quick

As long as you don't think you're cringe, own it! You'll quaff mugs of ale and play a concertina and be merry with your fellows, haters be damned.
