Chapo was banned about 18 months ago, we have fallen out of a lot of people's memories. Showing the newer users what we are about could be beneficial. We all had to learn what Chapo was about through the volcel police and the hot couch at one point.
If we're going to do that we need the resources to handle it too. But yeah prime opportunity here. Also Reddit mods actually doing something good? I can't believe it!
The mods are escalating and locking subs now. They need to maximize publicity to make reddit look bad.
The only option Spez would have would be to remove mods and put up mods willing to break the blackout: those who are tolerant with misinformation.
This would essentially turn Reddit into Gab or Parler, and a bunch of pissed off users would be prime for radicalization and inviting them over here.

Yeah the more the merrier. We've got a strong enough culture now that we'd be fine with more people in the mix.

Yeah, bringing individual users over would be dope. Lifeboat comms just immediately get targeted by wreckers though, which sucks.
If I see someone posting good leftist stuff on reddit I'll just send them a DM inviting them to check this place out.
