    I mean, who's fucking choice was that? Management saw an opportunity to squeeze more productivity out of their employees and gleefully took it - it's not like workers were begging their bosses to take more of their personal time away from them. I prefer not working in an office but if the tradeoff was my boss panopticonning into my home then I'd probably want to go back in.
