There are other not great things but that's the big one, and it's pretty huge. Yes let's cast a white guy, paint him brown, and make him act like a stereotypical Indian guy. Massive oof.
It's a shame because I love the character of Johnny 5, and it was one of my earliest exposures to the notion of treating a non-human like a person, just the same as anyone else
(I guess that includes being racist to him in the sequel)
