As Israel continues to massacre hundreds of Gazans each day and starve the entire population of 2.2 million, a series of high-level US officials are traveling to Israel to coordinate American support for the genocide and prepare a military escalation throughout the Middle East.
For wars? Absolutely. For anything else? Not really.
Long term planning at the national level has never been a strength of the US because of the rotating nature of the politicians in the system; even when both parties agree on a perceived threat to their hegemony, they react to it differently (and often condemn the other side for their reaction)
