According to the commentary for The Day the Violence died where they have a segment showing Korean Itchy and Scratchy animators under awful working conditions offended their Korean animators. I guess it's less cheap labor and .ore that's where the last cell animation studios were, I guess there was a Korean guy who lived in America and worked for various animation studios during the early age and founded a giant animation industry when he got back. Not sure how good they actually have it but according to the writers, way better than they assumed.
