that's 48 cargo ships and 6 oil tankers waiting to dock in Los Angeles ports, basically the equivalent of circling the runway. "Normal" number of ships doing this: maybe 1

The grocery stores here in liberal mountain have been out of a bunch of different foodstuffs for the last couple of weeks. Cool Zone grimly approaches.
I rely on grocery delivery for no car, no transit system reasons and it's wild how often I'll place an order and they'll be like "rice? Yea no. Beans? Uhhhh I got a $12 can of organic Lima beans, does that work?" or just not communicate anything and 3/4 of the order just doesn't arrive so I have to call and ask, and they're just like, "yeah, we're out." Out of everything?
All the Aldis in my area were out of kidney beans for like 6 months or more a bit ago. They had organic but those were 2x the cost
under capitalism no beans
Couldn't make chili for ages :(
The fact that grocery stores are experiencing shortages of staple foods and goods is a very bad sign. It's also something absolutely no one is taking about.
