The amount of concrete, asphalt, metal, and plastic on Earth is growing fast. This year may mark the point when artificial stuff outweighs living things.

Thank you for de-libbing my post. And yeah I guess. There's something like only 3% of the planet is still relatively natural - the ubiquity of human activity combined with the collapse of other biomass makes this a pretty grim milestone
