I have a friend who listens to Rogan's podcast and has self-described as a socialist (and he called himself a succdem once. Not "social democrat" or "Socdem" but "succdem". I guess they could've picked it up from anywhere, but it kinda makes me think they're hanging around PoliticalCompassMemes or some other similar space). They listen to Rogan, though, which is big sus. Called Jordan Peterson "not that bad a guy." Argued with me that the US is not an empire. But they were a big Bernie fan. Hates Bezos, but when I said Richard Branson should've died in space, said "no Branson is cool." In short, absolutely confused mess of no ideology.
That's a big chunk of America. I know a lot of people at work or from school just like that.
i'm 100% convinced in the mirror universe the guy from Cheaters is the one whose career blows up instead of Rogan. I have no idea what his politics were, but it's the key divergence point that would've given us a mariam williamson presidency and made vampires real.
