I checked their website to see the price and the whole thing just screams silicon valley techbro in the worst way possible. Like I thought they were trying to sell me a MacBook or something at first. But no it's a car. At the price starts at 54k, without any of the extras. Our bud on twitter here probably paid 60k+ for that. Unbelievable. Do people really fall for this marketing?

60k without tax and registration. Assuming Tesla doesn't charge him extra so that he could get his vehicle earlier. And he wouldn't be getting federal tax credit either.

I think Model 3 is cheaper than Y. Not sure about their lineup.

So the second cheapest car they offer. And people wonder why no one thinks that Tesla is a serious solution to emissions and climate change. No one can afford this shit!

A VW ID.4 is cheaper with similar storage capability of an SUV. You get tax credit for it in the US. Both state and federal. There are plenty of options for an electric car. Even from the Koreans. But Tesla fanboys only buy it for the fact that it's a Tesla and they can be smug about it.

TFL Car on YouTube bought a Model Y and the rear door handle which if you know, isn't the traditional pull type, stopped working. They had to call the Tesla mechanic again and again to repair it when it stopped working. There's no inner latch to open it either and the emergency switch for the rear door is hidden away at the bottom of the rear door behind the front passenger. The reviewers(the channel owners) and some of the comments were still saying it's not that big of a deal like lmfao you're dead if you need to exit the vehicle immediately and the door won't open.

I searched and the Tesla model Y actually does do it in 3.5 seconds. The Volkswagen ID 4 does it in 6. But why the fuck does a family SUV need supercar acceleration? Recipe for accidents
