My friend and I watched Judas and the Black Messiah a couple weeks back, and since then he's been wanting to learn more about Fred Hampton, particularly his work organizing before he was murdered.
He's one of those anticommunist "leftists" and is sure that "tankies would cancel" Fred Hampton for some reason, so something that actually dives into the politics of the Black Panthers without acting like they were just a community service organization would be nice.
We have most major streaming services, torrents, whatever.
Theres the The Murder of Fred Hampton, but I've never watched it so don't know how good it is or if its worth watching.
Three documentaries that deal with the Panthers are the Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution, American Revolution 2, and the Black Power Mixtape. Those are definitely worth checking out.
