I am comfortable with my microsoft spyware. I don't want to learn2code to perform a basic task (idc how easy you nerds say it is, even copy and pasting is too inconvenient). I don't care if the NSA and Bill Gates watch me jerk off if it means I don't have to slightly go out of my complacent ways. STOP THE LINUX PROPAGANDA

But seriously tho you really do not have to use the terminal. I'm running manjaro on my laptop and haven't had to touch the terminal at all. It all works out the box with GUI applications and settings, and almost every piece of software that runs on linux is available in it's app store.

But really, if you care to take the time to do so, it's also incredibly worth it. I haven't used a graphical file manager in like 15 years - the console is that much more practical.

But yeah, you don't have to on modern linux distros anyway.

This is true. Linux has GUI feature parity with Windows. (And even that is an understatement)

It isn't to say the Linux GUI is lacking some feature(s)/usability that the Windows GUI has, to say that the terminal is usually just the better tool. Linux's terminal just happens to be really nice to use.

i like windows 10 it has never really given me a problem besides taking 15 minutes to install an update that I've put off for three months
