"Bombing civilians is acceptable because Hamas is using them as human shields!"

"Bombing civilians is acceptable because Hamas is cruelly excluding them from their military areas!"

If they did somehow manage to squeeze over a million people into tunnels they would again become unfortunate human shields that the IOF has no choice but to shred with bunker busters.

    A reply

It's terribly sad to see Gazan civilians killed. But, luckily, I've made up a scenario which takes any guilt away AND places the blame on Hamas.

    Alter keeps going. Emphasis mine.

Yes, @mccbumgarner, a lot (not all) blame on Hamas, which hasn't built a single bomb shelter to protect its people. Not one. So the only place they might be safe (if not flooded) is underground, where civilians in every other country ever bombed have sought refuge.

I wonder if there was some reason they were unable to build large scale infrastructure like that.

In what world could Hamas build a structure for civilians that Israel would not call a base of human shields? I want to say this guy is a moron but he knows better and is just evil. He should be Fortnite Ohio'd in my Minecraft GTA5 Roleplay server with a Gran Turismo

I had to read this guy's think piece about torture once for school. His argument was "yeah it may be unethical and also not really work but you'd probably do it too if you had to it." Just brainworms, he needs to be put down

I had to read this guy's think piece about torture once for school.

      Ack.

The worst that happened to me is that this year - by choice - I read his very short Wikipedia page. It said he later regretted his pro torture stance. And now he's back on his bullshit.

he needs to be put down

When Trump was president - I saw him once on MSNBC and I'm not making this up when I say that he mentioned the importance of a word in the politics. He defined it. And he even spelled it out. I couldn't believe it. He said something like "A word that's been in a news recently is 'comity'. It means 'working together'. That's c-o-m-i-t-y..."

Thousands could hide in the 250 miles of tunnels

How many thousands, Jonathan? There are 2300 thousands in Gaza, after all. Even if we take this stupid claim at face value, it still adds exactly nothing useful to the discourse.

There'd be loads of safe space for the civilians to hide out if there wasn't a settler state banning them from their homes!

So...okay, Hamas is bad because it has evil Terror Tunnel lairs that Israel has to bomb, but also civilians should hide in them...?
