My wife and I were in a line of cars that were turning into an event parking lot. The police were there directing traffic, and this dude in a blue 2002 dodge ram tried turning in from the opposite side instead of being in line with the rest of us. I couldn't hear what was said, but the cop stopped him, and I could see by the body language that he was basically arguing that even though he made a mistake, or was trying to jump the line, he should just be allowed to go because it would be easier. You could tell by the gestures that the cop kept telling him "no, you're going to have to get in line".
He gets pissed and just goes for it. I can see the cop say something into his walkie.
We turn into the lot, and there he is, pulled over and arguing with a new cop.
These motherfuckers can't fathom how if this was a stop in a big city, and if they were a minority, the cops would just ventilate them. I'm a straight white man, and I couldn't imagine mouthing off to a cop for fear of repercussions.
Is this a Canadian saying that I'm not familiar with?
